Forest Gate Church

WELCOME

Welcome to Forest Gate Church - a Church which is focussed on Jesus, following His teachings to make a difference in our community. We are a family Church, with children, young people and families, but we have a wide age range of members from all walks of life.

We believe that God calls us to go out into our workplaces, neighbourhoods and social circles as lights that shine for Him. Therefore everything we do is to equip God's people to do just that - to grow in our relationship with God, and to grow in our relationships with each other.

Verse of the week

1 Matthew 5:16 “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven”

I wonder what people see about us as we go about our week ?

what is it people see and how does it impact on their lives each day ? When I concider the light that comes from me, I hope they see caring and understanding. Kindness and support a willingness to build up and encourage. Let us hope this week God really is glorified, because our light is good.
